RECOMMENDATION

On Monday, February 2, the community-based Bond Planning Committee officially presented its formal recommendation regarding a potential bond election for Decatur ISD. This marks the culmination of months of community feedback and data analysis, providing the Board of Trustees with useful information from our area for a potential May election.

By law, the community-elected school board has until February 13 to officially call for a May election. The Board is scheduled to meet again during its regular meeting on February 9 to officially vote on whether to call for a May bond election based on this recommendation.
